Kensington Pup Crawl 2026
Every year we think the Kensington Pup Crawl can't possibly get any bigger. And every year, you prove us wrong.
242 dogs · 400 people · 5 years
This year, 242 dogs and 400 of their favourite humans came through our doors, and our hearts are still full. (So is our lint roller.)
Five years ago, we started this event with our friends at Pet Planet Kensington as a fun way to bring a little Halloween magic to the neighbourhood. Since then, the Kensington BRZ has taken it on and grown it bigger and better every year. But the real magic? That's you. The business members make it happen, but it's the community, the families, the neighbours and the four-legged regulars, who make it what it is.
And wow, did you bring it with the costumes.
We had a lobster golden retriever with his fishermen, a skeleton family, a hive of buzzing bees and a whole crew of Dalmatians. Little Red Riding Hood strolled in with the Big Bad Wolf. Pumbaa showed up with his lion. A beaver brought his log-carrying pup, Ursula arrived with Sebastian the crab, and a St. Bernard dressed as Pennywise rolled through with Georgie riding shotgun in the stroller. Truly terrifying. Truly adorable.
Awesome to see so many of you dressed up right alongside your pups. Matching costumes, group themes, full commitment. We see you, and we love it.
And the treats weren't just for the pups. We had a wine tasting set up at the back of the store so their people could sip along too, and even the kids went home with candy. Something for every member of the pack.
To every dog who sat (mostly) still for a photo, and to every human who wrangled them through the crowd: thank you. You're the reason this event keeps growing, and the reason we can't wait to do it all again next year.
There were SO many amazing costumes that we couldn't fit them all here, but scroll down for a few of our favourites and see if you can spot yourself!
