Galicia, Spain – 100% Sousón
Aromas of bright cherry, raspberry and darker blackberry tumble out of the glass, framed by violets, a curl of black pepper and a gentle smoky, earthy edge. The palate is juicy and fruit-forward yet elegant — equal parts volume and freshness, with fine, supple tannins and a long, spiced finish. Serve it with a slight chill alongside grilled lamb and crispy potatoes, seared tuna, cured cheeses, or a spread of tapas.
Made by the Carreiro family at Coto de Gomariz — in Ribeiro, regarded as the oldest wine-producing region in the Iberian Peninsula
