Navarra, Spain — 40% Tempranillo, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot
Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, clove, and hints of licorice, garrigue, and mint. On the palate notes of ripe dark fruit, firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral streak. The finish lingers with hints of dark chocolate and spice. It pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, roast beef, game, chorizo, or hearty stews. Located in northern Navarra near the Pyrenees, where altitude and Atlantic influence help preserve acidity and freshness. Tandem was founded in 2003 by Alicia Eyaralar and José María Fraile. This wine undergoes ageing of minimum 24 months in concrete vats + 9 months in 300-litre French oak barrels.
