Alentejo, Portugal – Syrah, Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet
Aromas of layered dark fruit think blackberries, blueberries, and plum with toasty oak, and a touch of spicy licorice. On the palate, it is bold and full-bodied, bringing together the solid structure of Syrah, the tannin of Touriga Franca and the freshness of Alicante Bouschet, with tannins that build to a firm finish. Aged eight months in new French oak on an estate shared with cork oak forest. Serve at 16°C to 18°C for optimal enjoyment. Perfectly pairs with grilled steak, roast lamb, sausages and hearty stews.
