Burgenland, Austria – 100% Chardonnay
Aromas of fresh herbs, white apple, and a delicate tropical touch of pineapple and mandarin zest. On the palate, it's precise and mineral-driven, with bright acidity, a saline grip, and a stony finish that lingers. Ideal pairings include pan-seared halibut, oysters on the half shell, spring vegetable risotto, goat cheese crostini, or a simple plate of charcuterie and pickled vegetables.
The "Sinner" vineyard sits on fossil-bearing limestone and mica-schist above Lake Neusiedl. Silvia Prieler (PhD biochemist, former intern at Domaine Dujac) now co-stewards this multi-generation estate with her brother Georg.
