Côtes de Provence, France - 90% Rolle, 5% Semillon, 5% Ugni Blanc
Aromas open with notes of white flowers and ripe peach, blanched almond, lifted by citrus-y notes. The palate is balanced carrying that same fresh fruitiness through to a citrus finish that lends real complexity for such an easy drinking style. Perfect with salads, or alongside raw or grilled fish, a niçoise, ceviche, or seared scallops would all suit beautifully.
The fruit is grown organically on clay and limestone soil dating back to the Triassic period. Vinification is traditional, in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with only a brief ageing period on fine lees.
