
Abruzzo, Italy – 100% Pecorino
Bright citrus aromas of lemon, green apple, and quince, intertwined with floral and almond nuances. he palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, delivering fresh, mineral-driven flavours and a clean, lingering finish. It pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled vegetables, light pasta dishes, fresh cheeses, and even sushi or cured meats. Pecorino has ancient roots, praised as early as Roman times by Pliny the Elder. By the late 1980s it had nearly disappeared. Thanks to a few dedicated viticulturists, including Pasetti, the grape was revived and has since regained its place as one of Abruzzo’s most distinctive native whites.
