Manchuela, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain – 100% Macabeo (skin-contact/orange)
Aromas of guava, quince, and jasmine, with hints of peach, sage, and ginger over a core of citrus and hot lime peel, all lifted by a stony minerality — a complex, inviting orange-wine bouquet. Amber and gently cloudy in the glass (unfiltered, as it should be), the palate is fresh and clean: lime and crisp yellow apple, soft floral notes, and the light, balanced grip that skin contact brings, finishing long and bright.
Made from 100% Macabeo, fully destemmed and given about a week of skin-contact maceration to draw out colour, aromatics, and gentle tannin, with no malolactic to keep it fresh, then bottled unfiltered.
