Join us in the shop for an evening with one of the Barossa's most engaging voices. On Thursday, September 3rd, from 5pm to 7pm, we're welcoming Sacha Timaeus, Export Manager for the legendary Torbreck Vintners, for a relaxed, drop-in tasting.
As the person who represents Torbreck across its international markets, Sacha spends much of the year on the road carrying the brand's story to the world — and now he's bringing it to Kensington. Torbreck is one of the Barossa Valley's benchmark producers, celebrated for its old-vine Shiraz and Rhône-style blends drawn from some of Australia's most treasured vineyards. Sacha has spent over a decade championing Australian fine wine, and brings a rare mix of deep knowledge and genuine warmth to the glass. A WSET Diploma holder with a Master's in Wine Business — and, by his own admission, a "failed actor" turned natural storyteller — he's exactly the kind of guest who makes learning about wine feel like catching up with a friend.
