Agenais IGP, Southwest France — 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc
Aromas of citrus fruits with orange blossom, lime leaf, and a subtle hint of allspice. The palate is dry with a slightly weighted, almost oily mid-palate texture. Bright acidity, finishing with a lean mineral and gentle leafy, vegetal note that adds balance and complexity to an otherwise easy-drinking wine.
Pairing Suggestions: Enjoy well-chilled as an apéritif or alongside a charcuterie board with hard to semi-hard cheeses and pitted green olives. Also a natural match for Mediterranean fare — chicken souvlaki with pita, or a Greek salad with crumbled goat cheese.
