Aromas of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant with a hint of prune. Medium-dry on the palate with dense, gently sweet fruit, soft yet spicy, closing on a well-balanced blackberry finish. An easy, generous crowd-pleaser. Lovely with spicy pork dishes and a cheese platter.
Hand-picked, gently de-stemmed and crushed, then fermented at a controlled 28°C in stainless steel with cap management, fermentation is stopped by cooling to hold onto the wine's natural sweetness and freshness. Marani has been making wine in Kakheti since 1915.
