Mr. Louis Chèze has managed this family property since 1978, located on the hillside of Limony, on the right bank of the Rhône. This Cornas displays an intense garnet colour with an aromatic profile of blackberry and chocolate. Additional typical Cornas characteristics include hints of smoked meat, black pepper, and leather, enhancing the complexity. The palate is ample and generous, marked by robust tannins and a rich texture. Vinification involves careful grape sorting, thermoregulated fermentation, and ageing in barrels for 14 months. This full-bodied wine pairs excellently with red meat and has the potential to age beautifully for 5 to 10 years.
