Loire Valley, France – 100% Cabernet Franc
Aromas of fresh raspberry and red currant, with the classic Cabernet Franc signature of violet, crushed graphite, and a gentle leafy lift. The palate is round and fruit-forward, with real length and beautifully smooth, suave tannins. An easygoing, food-loving Loire red. Perfect with fine charcuterie, poultry, pork, red meats, or even mild cheeses.
A Bourgueil grown on a mix of gravel and clay-limestone soils. From vines aged 20 to 30 years, with a three-week maceration and ten months ageing in large oak foudres and truncated 50-hL oak vats.
