Sassy Vintage Wall Decor by Kerri Chambers
Exhibit Opening: Wednesday, October 7 · 5 to 7 PM · FREE EVENT
Some plates are made for dinner. These ones are made for drama.
This fall we're thrilled to welcome Petty Little Plates, a collection of vintage wall art with a whole lot of attitude, by artist Kerri Chambers. Kerri takes thrift-store collector plates, the kind that once hung quietly in grandma's dining room, and gives them a second life with shady sayings and perfectly petty one-liners.
Picture a demure Victorian girl whose "give a damns are on vacation." A charming 1920s couple "searching for f*cks." A sweet little tea party where someone orders "a double serotonin on the rocks, please." Every piece pairs old-fashioned charm with thoughts we've all had and never said out loud.
Meet the Artist
Hi, I'm Kerri, the voice behind Petty Little Plates, giving thrift-store finds a cheeky new life with shady sayings, witty words, and all the things we think but don't say. This is not your grandmother's décor. It's playful, irreverent, and made for anyone who believes a little attitude belongs on the wall.
From sassy statements to perfectly petty one-liners, each plate is designed to make you laugh, raise an eyebrow, or say, "I was just thinking that."
