On the palate, it’s medium‑bodied but expressive — juicy red fruit, subtle spicy notes, gentle tannins and a clean finish. The structure is well balanced, offering both fruit-forward appeal and an undercurrent of savory depth. It pairs beautifully with boiled meats, salted cod “alla Vicentina,” aged cheeses, rustic stews, or grilled vegetables. After fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in large oak barrels.
