While we typically organize by style, there's one region that always seems to get a little... special treatment. Let's just say someone around here (who may or may not own the store) has a soft spot for Beaujolais crus, and it shows. So really, this whole tasting is entirely Nat's fault — and we're so excited to invite you to it!
Nathalie, of course, will be hosting — this region is near and dear to her heart, and it shows every time she talks about it. It's going to be so much fun exploring each of the crus together and discovering just how different they can be.
Each cru comes from its own little patch of granite or schist, and the differences are wild once you taste them side by side — a Fleurie is going to be lifted and floral, almost delicate, while a Morgon leans darker and more structured. Same grape, completely different personality. Anyways, we could go on and on, but you might as well just join us and see for yourself!
And of course, cheese and charcuterie from our friends at Peasant Cheese, will be on the table to keep you company through it all.
