Thracian Valley, Bulgaria – 100% Mavrud
Aromas of ripe red fruit, dark cherries, dry leaves, chocolate, and spice. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with soft tannins and a rounded texture, finishing long with savoury depth. Perfect with red meat dishes, pasta, or hard cheeses.
Mavrud is one of Bulgaria’s oldest indigenous grape varieties, known for producing deeply coloured, structured wines with natural tannin, spice, and strong ageing potential. Aged for 12 months in French and Bulgarian oak barrels to build structure while preserving the grape’s character and richness.
