Catalonia, Spain - 100% Grenache
Aromas open with notes of red cherry and wild strawberry, layered with garrigue herbs and a touch of white pepper, warmed by soft spice from oak. The palate is soft and fruit forward, with fine, easygoing tannins carrying that same red fruit through to a gently spiced finish. Perfect with grilled sausages, or alongside patatas bravas, roasted peppers, or a simple burger.
The fruit comes from twenty five year old vines rooted in rocky Terra Alta soil, hand selected and harvested at dawn. A mix of French and American oak, then clarification at low temperature before bottling.
