Swartland, Western Cape, South Africa – 80% Chenin Blanc, 20% Viognier
Aromas of apricot, orange blossom, white peach, and a lift of toasted almond. The palate is soft and rounded with vibrant acidity, ripe stone fruit, and a fresh, mineral finish. Medium-bodied and easy to love. Pairs beautifully with grilled white fish, roast chicken with lemon and herbs, soft cheeses, charcuterie boards.
Founded by Christophe Durand, a Frenchman from a Calvados family who moved to Cape Town in 1995 and opened the city's first urban winery. Whole-bunch handled, fermented and aged on lees in stainless steel.
