Roussillon, France – 100% Chardonnay
Aromatic and generous, opening with exotic fruit and ripe pear lifted by a note of toasted hazelnut and white-flower freshness. The palate is rich, round and almost creamy, yet kept lively by a thread of bright acidity and a gentle mineral lift.
Lovely as an apéritif, or pour it alongside grilled sea bream, salmon tartare, fresh oysters, or a soft goat cheese; it's equally at home with roast chicken or a buttery pasta. Dom Brial is a Roussillon cooperative established in 1923, named after a Benedictine monk born in Roussillon.
