Veneto, Italy — 75% Corvina, 15% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella, 5% Molinara

Aromas of sour black cherries, blackberries and ripe red cherries punctuated by hints of balsam and spice. On the palate the acidity is lively and the tannins are fine, giving the wine structure yet a fresh, harmonious finish. Pair it with hearty first courses like wild boar ragù pappardelle, grilled lamb chops with rosemary and garlic, or a mature pecorino with fig jam for a refined contrast. The estate farms organically and has expanded into the Valpolicella zone at Cazzano di Tramigna for this offering. Vines are harvested by hand and the wine sees stainless-steel ageing for about four months.
