Soft oak, honey and banana lead the nose, with floral plum and berries in the background. The palate brings oak spice, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg alongside green apple and vanilla. The finish dries gently with spice, then softens into vanilla cream, raspberries and red and black currants.
This double distilled single malt gets a final maturation in Bordeaux red wine casks from Château La Cardonne, which is what sets it apart in the Clonakilty Cask Finish Series.
