Graves AOC, Bordeaux, France – 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon
Aromas of grapefruit, pear and a touch of pineapple, lifted by white flowers. The palate is round and juicy, with a lively, mineral finish. The same family has farmed these vines in Saint-Pierre-de-Mons for five generations; the grapes rest on their skins for 24 hours before pressing, then the wine ages on its fine lees for six to eight months for extra texture. Perfectly pairs with oysters, crab quiche, mushroom risotto, roast chicken and beet and goat cheese salad.
