The name Varvàra is in honor of Baroness Varvàra Wrangler, wife of Count Ugolino della Gherardesca and great-grandmother of Count Federico Zileri Dal Verme, the current owner. Expressive aromas of black currant, blackberry, and subtle spice, enhanced by hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, ripe dark fruits meld with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, creating a rich and balanced structure. The finish is long and refined, with notes of cocoa and earthy undertones.
