We're genuinely thrilled this one is getting sampled. Aromas of crushed stone and white flowers lead into notes of green apple, honeysuckle and a touch of ripe pineapple, with the palate turning savoury, bright with citrus and finishing on a bitter almond note. Pour it alongside fresh seafood, fried calamari, light pasta dishes or a simple cheese board and it more than holds its own. Bisci farms organically high in the Apennine mountains of Marche, where their vineyards, replanted starting in the 1970s, sit at 300 to 350 metres above sea level on limestone clay soils with southern exposure, giving the grapes their fine, aromatic character.
