Summer is BBQ season and many of us take full advantage of our short summers to wine and dine al fresco as often as we can. Sometimes it’s far from home while camping, other times it’s at friends' back yards, and usually on our own deck, but what wines pair with each grilling possibility?
On Wednesday, August 7th from 6pm to 8pm, J-S will open several styles of wines at all price points that pair well with various grilled foods, for most situations we find ourselves in. Wine in a bag for camping? Why not! Twist cap wines we can bring to a friend’s house? For sure! That expensive bottle you just dug up from the cellar? Yum!
Whether it’s grilled vegetables, proteins or other fare, we all need wine for every grilling and visiting occasion, and tonight will be one of discovery and satisfaction :-)
Wine Dad is happy to be working with The Continental YYC restaurant to prepare some BBQ-type bites to pair with our wines, so when you register please inform us of any food allergies so that we can have a great time!
