Macedonia, Greece – 100% Xinomavro
Aromas of fresh strawberry and red cherry, lifted by bright florals and a hint of citrus. Wonderful on it’s own with a patio, otherwise try it with grilled vegetables, tomato-based dishes, charcuterie, grilled white fish and salmon, and lighter Mediterranean fare. This would also be tasty with Thai or Chinese takeout.
This is the only PDO in the country dedicated to rosé (certified back in 1972), and Nymphaea is 100% Xinomavro, the noble red grape of the north.
