Terre di Chieti IGP, Abruzzo, Italy – 100% Pecorino
Aromas of ripe peach and apricot meet soft floral notes and a brush of aromatic herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a surprising line of acidity that keeps it fresh and eminently drinkable, closing long with a mineral echo of the calcareous, clay soils. Serve it cool, around 8–10°C, with light antipasti, fish and vegetable dishes, or fresh young cheeses.
Agriverde has farmed organically near the ancient village of Caldari in Abruzzo since 1991.
