Aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, and Marasca cherry aromas, underpinned by gentle spice and a touch of earth. The palate is plush yet fresh, with juicy black fruit, lively acidity, soft tannins, and a clean, almond-tinged finish. Great with antipasti, mushroom risotto, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and young, semi-firm cheeses like pecorino. Fruit comes from 11 vineyard parcels on Barolo’s limestone hills. Grapes are fermented spontaneously in stainless steel, undergo malolactic fermentation, and aged in steel before bottling.
