Ribera del Duero, Spain – 100% Tempranillo
Rich aromas of black and red berries—think blackberry, raspberry, and currant, layered with vanilla, coffee, and toffee from barrel aging. The palate is complex yet balanced, with juicy fruit entry, rounded texture, and mature, polished tannins leading to a long, lingering finish. Delicious with roasted meats, grilled lamb, mushroom stews, or charcuterie with aged cheeses. Hand-harvested Tempranillo with careful selection in both vineyard and winery. Aged six months in French and American oak followed by malolactic fermentation in barrel, then bottle aging.
