Abruzzo, Italy – 100% Montepulciano
The nose bursts with wild cherry, fresh strawberry, and raspberry, underlined by a hint of orange peel and spice. On the palate it's vibrant and structured, with zippy acidity, a satisfying weight, and a long, savoury finish. Exceptional pairings include lobster bisque, grilled salmon, prosciutto and melon, pizza, or light pasta with tomato-based sauces.
Cerasuolo means "cherry-red" in Italian — and this wine earns that name. The Superiore designation demands higher minimum alcohol and longer maturation.
