Txakoli (pronounced cha-ko-LEE) is a Basque coastal wine style celebrated for its brisk acidity, light body and ocean-kissed salinity.
On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of tropical fruits, mango, citrus and subtle floral notes. The palate is crisp and vibrant, characterized by vibrant acidity, delivering flavours of lemon zest, pineapple, mineral and a nutty undertone. Its refreshing profile makes it an excellent companion to seafood dishes, particularly oysters, grilled fish, and traditional Basque pintxos. Serve well-chilled to fully appreciate its lively character. This comes from a single, 17-acre vineyard called Saratsu, located in Amorebieta, Bizkaia.
