60% Semillon, 40% Chenin Blanc
Perfumed citrus blossom, white peach and subtle honeyed notes greet the nose, layered with crushed stone and gentle herbal nuance. On the palate, bright lemon, white orchard fruits and a mineral backbone balance a medium body with lively acidity, while a touch of waxy texture adds depth. The finish is clean and persistent with saline lift. Great with grilled sea bass and lemon-herb salsa, chicken piccata, spring vegetable tart, or goat cheese and herb flatbread. Bodega Catena Zapata helped pioneer Mendoza’s reputation beyond Malbec.
