Step into an unforgettable evening as J-S will pit two of the world’s great wine nations against each other in a spirited “Battle of the Reds: Italy vs. France!” Guests will explore six carefully selected wines in each of Vine Styles’ three expressive styles: Elegant, Smooth, and Bold. Each pairing showcases how these neighbouring countries interpret red wine through their own terroir, tradition, and personality.
From the lifted finesse of alpine and Burgundian reds, to the silky charm of Tuscan and Rhône varieties, to the deep, powerful expressions of Piedmont and Bordeaux, this tasting hopes to showcase how differently and beautifully these countries speak the language of red wine.
Throughout the evening, we will taste, compare, and cast our votes: will France’s classic poise triumph, or will Italy’s soulful intensity steal the crown? Only your palate decides. And as usual, we will have a delicious charcuterie and cheese board to accompany the wines. Let the battle begin!
