
Okanagan Valley, Canada – 100% Cabernet Franc
Aromas include tomato leaf, cardamom, crushed rock, pomegranate, raspberry and fresh tobacco. The palate follows with plum, raspberry, tobacco and pomegranate, framed by mineral intensity and bright acidity. Fine stem inclusion adds floral and herb layers. Great length and clear, clean finish. Excellent with roast lamb, grilled vegetables, pork loin, mushroom dishes, or herb rubbed poultry. Sourced from the certified‑organic Sekhon vineyard in Osoyoos. Fermentation was done in separate lots (wild‑yeast and inoculated), with up to 40% whole clusters. Extended élevage for 11 months in French oak barrels before bottling in autumn 2023.
