Burgundy, France — 100% Pinot Noir
Fresh cherry, wild strawberry, and red currant, followed by violet, soft earth, and a gentle spice note. The palate is light to medium bodied with silky texture and delicate tannins, balanced by bright acidity that keeps it lifted and food-friendly. Elegant rather than powerful. Excellent with roast chicken, duck breast, mushroom risotto, turkey, lentil dishes, salmon, or a simple baguette with pâté and soft cheeses like Brie or Chaource.
Fruit comes from clay-limestone vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise with average vine age around 35 years. The wine undergoes cold maceration before fermentation and is aged partly in used French oak barrels.
