S. Willamette Valley, Oregon - 100% Pinot Noir
A layered nose of dried herbs, ripe plums, cherries and raspberries opens into dark chocolate, cherry pie and graham cracker. On the palate, red raspberry and Bing cherry meet savory herb notes, carried by a graceful, silky texture through to the finish. Built from nine vineyard parcels across four Willamette Valley AVAs, it's a wine that speaks to the region's range and depth.
It's a natural with roast duck, herb-crusted lamb or a simple roast chicken, where the savory herb notes echo the dish. Earthy sides like mushroom risotto or wild rice pilaf bring out its plum and cherry depth, while a slice of cherry pie or dark chocolate dessert plays right into the wine's own flavour profile. Also lovely alongside a soft, bloomy-rind cheese.
