Roussillon, France – 100% Marselan
Aromas open with notes of fresh raspberry and strawberry, lifted by a touch of delicate spice. The palate is soft and harmonious, with moderate, well integrated tannins carrying that same fresh red fruit through to a light, refreshing finish. Perfect with bruschetta and tapenade, or alongside wood fired pizza with creamy burrata, a charcuterie board, or brie with fig jam.
The Marselan is grown on clay limestone hillsides and low altitude sandy loam soils, picked early to keep alcohol naturally low.
