Loire Valley, France — 100 % Sauvignon Blanc
Citrus fruits like lemon and grapefruit open the nose with a bright, vivacious expression. On the palate, the wine is long and slender, offering zesty citrus layers underpinned by a taut minerality drawn from its silex and limestone soils. The tension remains high throughout, culminating in a saline, persistent finish that speaks clearly of terroir. Pair with oysters, langoustines, grilled white fish in herb sauce. The Delaporte estate lies in the heart of Chavignol and has been in the family since the 17th century. 34 parcels: half planted on silex soils, the other half on calcareous ground (caillottes and terres blanches). The average vine age is around 35 years.
