Soave, Veneto, Italy — mostly Garganega (with some Trebbiano di Soave)
On the nose, expect white-flower and citrus (lemon) aromas, with subtle pear and yellow-peach undertones. On the palate it’s crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity, delicate stone-fruit and citrus flavours, and a mineral-tinged finish that leaves the wine feeling light and easy. This makes it an excellent aperitif, or a versatile food wine — pair it with seafood (sushi, sashimi, tempura, lighter fish), vegetable-based dishes, fresh cheeses, white meats, or even Asian-style sweet-and-sour cuisine.
