Emilia-Romagna, Italy — 100% Sangiovese
Compelling and complex: dark wild cherry, blackberry, and ripe plum seasoned with rosemary, dried thyme, crushed sea shells, and earthy mineral depth. The palate is structured yet graceful, with firm but refined tannins framing a juicy, medium-full body and bright. Built for roasted lamb, beef ragù over pappardelle, wild boar, aged pecorino, or a proper pizza night. Organically farmed in the historic village of Predappio — where they believe Sangiovese may have originated. 40-year-old vines are native-yeast fermented and aged in a combination of old Slavonian oak and stainless steel.
