Aromas of sour cherries, blackberries, and wild berries, as well as violets, forest tree bark and baking spices. The palate is fresh and perfectly balanced with well integrated tannins and flavours of red fruits, a touch of liquorice, earthy forest floor. 14% abv.
Pairing Suggestions: So Food Friendly! A perfect snack with Liguria olives, Salami, Prosciutto, and Asiago cheese. Don't forget a good olive oil and balsamic! Otherwise try this with Osso Buco, lamb shank, or wild boar. Ideal with a variety of red sauce pizza's and pastas like Spaghetti and meatballs or Chicken Parmesan.
