On the palate, it is supple and dry, with round, juicy fruit flavours of red plum and a touch of blackcurrant. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a fine structure. The wine finishes with a medium body and lingering savoury notes of tobacco, leather, and a subtle mineral edge, making it an excellent companion to cured meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, and grilled red meats.
