Explosion of dried cranberries, pipe tobacco, black truffle, grenadine, graphite, ashes with tomato sauce and black pepper, soy sauce, and prune. On the palate, fresh vibrant evolving red fruit like cranberries, grenadine, pomegranate lingering on cherry liquor. There is enough structure in this wine to lay down for up to 5 years.
Pairing Suggestion: This is perfect if you are a meat-itarian! Smokey bbq ribs, pork tenderloin, bacon wrapped filet mignon, pepper corn steak, lamb shank with cardamom, the list of red meats continue on... Otherwise try it with a dry rub cedar plank salmon, root vegetables like sweet potato, or grilled zucchini and red pepper.
This is the last batch of this wine every being made, as the winemaker is moving on to other projects!
