Salento IGT, Puglia, Italy - Primitivo and Nero di Troia
Aromas of marasca cherry, black currant, red plum, and Vignola cherry, complemented by subtle hints of plum, a light balsamic note, and whiffs of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is full of fruit, stimulated by a balsamic vein, with a silky, fine-grained tannic structure. The generous acidity imparts a joyful freshness to the sip, leading to a refreshing and persistent finish. Perfectly paired with beef braciole cooked in a tomato sauce with parsley, garlic, pecorino, and breadcrumbs, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
