Barlow Vineyards if located on the Silverado Trail between Calistoga and St. Helena at the upper end of the Napa Valley, an area know for producing well structured and dense Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The vines and lyre trellised to take full advantage of the well-drained , down sloped vineyards, with their dominate microclimate of cool nights and warm, wind protected days. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested for ultimate ripeness, aged in french oak barrels and then bottle aged until release.
Aromas of dark chocolate, black cherry, cassis, violets and spice. Rich and structured with melted tannins and flavours of jammy black fruit notes and hints of nutmeg. 14.2% abv.
